Asparagus and Fried Tofu in Sesame Oil & Oyster Sauce

 

Ingredients:

½ Kilo fresh asparagus, trimmed
1 block firm tofu, sliced and fried
½ head garlic, minced
½ Cup oyster sauce
About 2 Tbsp sesame oil
Salt and pepper, to taste

 

Directions:

Heat sesame oil and stir-fry tofu pieces.
Remove tofu from pan, add in asparagus and garlic.
Cook till asparagus turns bright green.
Return fried tofu to pan.
Stir in oyster sauce and heat through.
(add water or chicken stock for thinner sauce, if desired)
Toss everything together.
Season with salt and pepper.
